If it’s great voices, great music, and great arrangements you’re after, this is it: Mocedades’ wonderful music leaves lasting impressions on even the most difficult-to-please audiences. With delightful, emotionally moving songs such as “Desde Que Tu Te Has Ido”, “El Vendedor”, “Amor De Hombre”, and “Son De La Negra”, this concert is the gift you owe yourself.

“Eres Tú” is one of the greatest songs ever written. It is intense, emotional, and demonstrates the superb talent and musical mastery of Mocedades. All who appreciate great voices and arrangements, wonderful music, and sublime and emotionally moving melodies, simply cannot afford to miss Mocedades in concert.

From the hauntingly beautiful remake of John Denver’s iconic “Annie’s Song”, to their rendition of Queen’s smasher “Somebody To Love”; from the wonderful modal transitions and soaring melodies of “Solos En La Alhambra” to the goose-bump-inducing “Como Siempre”, Mocedades is profoundly sublime.

Mocedades broke into the international world music industry with their hit “Eres Tú” after huge success at the Eurovision contest in 1973. The chart-topping song became one of the only Spanish-language songs to reach the Billboard in the United States. Mocedades has a massive discography, with 22 studio albums, among many others.

The superb singers of Mocedades - Izaskun Uranga, Javier Garay, Luis Hornedo, Aitor Melgosa, and Belén Esteve - promise to give the audience everything they could want and more: musical artistry, suave showmanship, emotional depth and breadth, a deep connection to the inner life of the music, soaring music, and all in all, a wondrous evening.

The world-renowned opera legend, Plácido Domingo, will be joining Mocedades on stage for the 50th anniversary of the release of “Eres Tú”. Domingo is a supernova — an irresistible force on any stage. He has recorded over 100 complete operas and played over 150 operatic roles in six different languages, and he is well-known and respected for his incredible versatility as a cross-over artist. With chart-toppers such as “Perhaps Love” – a duet with country and folk singer John Denver, an English version of the popular “Bésamo Mucho”, Louis Armstrong’s “What A Wonderful World”, and Shania Twain’s “From This Moment On”, Plácido Domingo never ceases to amaze.

The art-deco landmark music venue, The Wiltern, is one of the largest theatres in Los Angeles, with a massive seating capacity of between 1,200 and 4,000. The theatre is split into five levels, including a mezzanine area with two rear bars – perfect for a wondrous evening filled with some of the most beautiful voices and musical arrangements in history!
